1st week.

Have been going out everyday this week and returning home late at night. Been a long time since I've done this, and I really enjoy it. The night is so peaceful and calm, and most importantly, I love the company. I guess I've been focusing alot on my studies that I hardly have the time to pamper myself whatsoever. Ahwell. But I don't regret it, I just wanna do well and not let my parents down. I've disappointed them and myself many times, and I really hope things will change for the better in the years to come. Which doesn't really seem good right now, I feel really bad ever since I lost my mum's phone the other day. I'd rather lose my phone than hers. Sigh.. I shouldn't have been so careless. I've lost all my contacts too. Crap. And my phone's still not fixed yet, though it's nearing two weeks. Their estimation is way off, seriously. :s

And.. well, I miss Dad.

So.. Faiz and I were chatting about random stuff - religious, society, whatever - over a late lunch a few days back. To sum it all up, it was really intriguing, and astounding at certain parts. I never knew a book could impart so much information and knowledge to a person. We sat there for hours, and during those few hours, I felt like I've missed out alot, be it in life, the world, or anything around me. There's still so much to learn, and realise.

Take a step back - Look at things in a different light, consider things in a different way, ponder over various things, and wonder what exactly is going on.

And it doesn't just stop here.

Phew, I managed to get home in time to finish up my RJ. I had to rush out this afternoon and totally forgot to submit it before heading out. A pretty hectic day today, not to mention the past few days. Ahwell. At least its worth it, I guess. Oh and the caroling event wasn't like what I expected, but it was pretty fun. Meanie was so STUBBORN. She didn't want to sing. Ughhh. It doesn't even make a difference actually, we can hardly even hear our own voices. The song was so loud, and the mc's voice was even louder. And the best part was, the speakers were right behind us. My ears are probably less sharp right now. ;(

Most of the grades are out already (except Biology, which I'm not very confident about). So far.. I'm happy to say that I did fine for most, but as expected, my Chemistry really fail. I mean, it really really sucks. I can't do all those calculations. In fact, it's like being in Secondary school again, when I always stare at the questions, not knowing how to apply the concept. And yes, my Chemistry teacher back in Secondary school did not help at all, his way of teaching sucks, seriously. He expects us to memorise everything without understanding. Ah well. And so, my foundation for Chemistry is really unstable. I've got to work harder. Sigh. ;(

I accompanied my friend to Parklane Shopping Mall the other day as he was meeting an instructor there. Somehow, it gives off this weird vibe.. So creepy. And the people.. I see there.. Are so.. Ugh, nevermind.. I shan't continue. :(

So.. It was raining that day, and we had no idea how to go there. We had to rely on maps, directions given by people and our.. intuition. At least we managed to find it. ;) And yeah, drums are so cool. Oh gosh. The person actually managed to squeeze two sets of it into a tiny room. We were like, 'Wow o_o' the moment we stepped in. HAHA.

That day was just, totally shag. Tiring. Worn out. Exhausting. Ahwell.

I went to visit sis while she's at work just now. But before that, I went to the bank. And I walked there.. Under the burning sun. IT WAS REALLY HOT. Gosh. I cannot stand the heat. I prefer the cold. :'( I can withstand it so much better. Hehe.

Anyway, I bought a pair of new shoes. It's one of the few that are comfortable yet pretty. Hahahah. ;) The designs there are pretty unique though, I've never seen some before. But sadly, material wise, they aren't that lasting.

Headed over to JP afterwards to meet Edwin. Checked with the Nokia shop there and they told us that there's only one repair centre, which is at Vivo. Ugh. :( We walked around and around after that, searching for something suitable.. It was really tiring, and my voice was getting sore from all the talking. Somehow I've been talking alot today. Haha. ;) Yesterday was hell too, repeating all those steps to them.. Ugh, let's not go into that, before my blood boils again. ;)

So anyway, we wanted to go back to the 'cute guys store', but then I couldn't make up my mind, so we didn't go in the end. HAHA. Anyway the term wasn't quoted by me, but Edwin. Sounded weird when he said it. HAHAHA. Okay I admit, I was the one who said they were cute. Hehehe.

I attended my dad's cousin's wedding with my Mum, fourth Aunt and my cousin on Saturday. (Overdue post, hehe.)

Mum and I met them at Cityhall since the wedding's held at Carlton. We arrived later than the stated time and we felt really bad 'cos we though we were late. But it turned out that many people have yet to turn up. (More than half the tables were empty, and there were thiry/forty over tables, I think.) It was certainly a relief, hohoho. ;)

I didn't take any pictures as my phone's camera ain't that good. Ahwell. PLUS IT'S PRACTICALLY SPOILT NOW. :( I can't send and receive messages properly, can't call and receive calls properly either.. So troublesome! :( I'm going to bring it for repair asap. Hopefully by this week though. Sigh. :(

So anyway, I had lunch with sis @ Pepperlunch on Sunday at JP. Tried the spaghetti for the first time, and it tastes better than I thought. The seafood tastes exceptionally nice, hoho. I like the after taste. :) Too bad she has work after that, else we could have spent more time together looking around. I went around looking for a suitable gift, visiting the same few shops again and again, and coincidentally, bumped into Weishan. So after thinking for sucha long time, I finally bought something and headed home! :)

Firstly, I wanna apologise to those who I've talked to recently and sounded so annoyed, or rather, different.. Thanks for your tolerance and willingness to continue talking to me despite all my moody replies. I hope you guys know, that I appreciate every single thing you've done for me, be it telling me to cheer up, telling me jokes to make me laugh, comforting me, giving me long talks, telling me it'd be okay, even though when I know it wouldn't. I may not sound happy, but deep inside, please know that I am glad to know that there are actually people who care so much. So, don't worry about me. Just keep it this way, don't bring up the unhappy stuff. Lastly, thanks, thanks so much. :')

I just hope this ordeal will soon be over.. It's been a long time, and I've been foolishly thinking the impossible. I could see the difference, from the past and the present. It's tough, it hurts, it sucks, the pain is unbearable.. But I've got to make it bearable, and that's the reason why I've decided not to allow this to affect my emotions anymore.

Math was pretty fun today. We did something different during the third meeting. No presentations, but instead, came up with questions for the other teams to do, and then we had to go around solving the other teams' questions within a time limit. Heh. I managed to get 11 points though. ;D And after school, went for the Biology revision with my classmates, and just like I expected, I felt like dozing off after 45 minutes into the talk.. :s

By the way, I find that quite a number of people are into Arts. Cool huh. I love meeting people who have the same interests as me. Not that I don't like meeting those who don't. Hahahah. ;D I really hope I don't screw up this semester, I don't want my efforts to go down the drain. I'm still eyeing for a place in University! :>

Facis keep telling me, I did a great job, good participation and performance, all the positive stuff, and I end up getting B's all the time.

One, particularly, just ignore me.
Nevermind, I just continue trying to contribute and hope he/she acknowledges it. But no.. No matter how hard I try I just get ignored. So whatever, I just gave up trying the previous lesson. And what did I get? You telling me I should participate more and be more initiative. Wow. So I should just talk to the wall? And that's considered being participative/initiative? I've been doing that for the past few lessons and you didn't even comment anything about it. You don't see it 'cos you are always focusing on speaking to one person. Damn, I shall stop talking about this.. It's making me boil..

I wonder how you'll like it if you were the one getting ignored instead.

Teehee. Went to watch this movie on the 7th, during Sophie's surprise belated birthday celebration.
I've got to admit, the movie didn't really appeal to me at first. I didn't watch the trailer, and computer animated owls just don't interest me. (I prefer real owls, the cute fluffy ones! :D)

However, just minutes into the movie, I knew I was wrong. It was hilarious, cute and interesting. Heh heh. Even though it has the common storyline of the 'good' and the 'bad' wanting to rule the world and battling each other, it was a great movie. :)

Woke up at about 5am to prepare and head off to school.

Met Hk first as I had to change into the RP polo tee. Thanks for collecting it for me ya! And thanks for the chocolate too. Teehee. <:

Had our Mcdonalds' breakfast @ South Agora before heading off to our positions for the walk. Heard from Hk that Ghaythri's problems are solved already, but another problem came up. Poor thing. :<

After the walk, I headed off for work, but I reached too early, ahwell. -_-

Starbucks Seminar @ Centrepoint early in the morning.
I woke up early, but I still reached 5 minutes late, thanks to the bus which took up 30 minutes of my travelling time when its supposed to take up just half of it. -_- I felt so bad to let YH & Crystal wait for me, but they insisted, which made me feel all the more guiltier. :<

We headed to Forever 21 after the seminar ended.
Browsed through the items while waiting for Edwin. He wasn't feeling well and hence reached later than the time we agreed on.

When he arrived, we went around Somerset to see what's available. It took quite awhile before we decided to head to Bugis.

We had our lunch first, at Iluma, Empire State. I ordered a sandwich, which comes with a large serving (imo) of fries, while Edwin ordered Salmon and a cup of Espresso. My portion was huge, I couldn't finish it at all, but the food was great. I wouldn't say the same for Edwin's though. His salmon wasn't really good, both of us agreed that the one at Swensens was tastier. Also, his coffee comes in a tiny cup which can be finished in one gulp (But apparently Expresso coffee usually comes in small cups, according to my mum. I have no idea about that at all cos I don't drink coffee. :p). At least the service was great, and the food was decent. :)

Caught Resident Evil after that.
A great, intriguing show which totally differ from what I expected. (I thought it'd be boring, from the way Edwin described it. HAHA.

And before we headed back home, we went to queue for KOI.

I prefer the Bubbletea @ Bugis Junction. :>

I guess I'll always be the alternative, that replacement, substitute, to stand in when you've played enough, when you're tired of the old, when you want something refreshing, something new, something exciting, something that you think you can get easily, something that you want that will listen to you, basically something that satisfies your desires for that moment, before you go back and repeat that same old vicious cycle. Thanks for letting me know how you felt. However, sad to say, that didn't really changed my opinion of you and the way I see you. Because you're still no different. I'm glad I happened to chance upon some things, because at least I know, you still can't leave the past behind. At least I know, I made the right choice not to go back. I'll still be here for you, though, if you ever need someone to talk to. I know I've told myself countless of times not to think or blog about you, but still.. I just end up doing it. I was late today because the damn bus driver didn't follow the route he's supposed to follow. Instead of going past the Science Centre bus stop, it went straight to JE Interchange. What the hell? Would it die to go through a few more stops? Tsk. IT'S YOUR JOB, HELLO. For the sake of your own benefit, you'd rather cause inconvenience to the passengers? Wow. Made me so pissed. I had to wait for twenty minutes to take the SAME BUS. What a great way to start my day. -_-

Science Centre: 1st day

I was supposed to be at the Science Centre at 11 am (apparently, they didn't bother to tell me what time I should be there, but I looked up their website and decided to go with the timings stated there).

I set a few alarms, but luckily I managed to wake up when the last alarm rang. And guess what? It was 10.15 am. I was supposed to be out of the house by that time. I immediately jumped out of bed, prepared, gulped down a drink and headed to the bus stop. The weather wasn't helping at all. It was scorching hot, and I had to wait for the bus still. It came at 10.57 am, so I was definitely going to be late. But thank goodness, I wasn't reprimanded or whatsoever (which made me feel even more guilty, ugh).

Therefore, I shall be a good girl and sleep early tomorrow so that I can wake up nice and early on Wednesday. :)
(Provided someone doesn't crap with me till 4/5/6 am in the morning, hahaha.)

Especially since I have been sleeping real late recently, thanks to 'Dunny'. (HAHAHA)

So anyway, back to what I was saying, I wasn't the only one late, thank goodness (again). A few others were there when I entered. Yx was really, really late though. I was surprised when she told me she was still at school configuring her laptop when I was waiting for the bus.

The guy assigned me to do the surveys. Yx joined me when she reached and we went around asking people to fill in the forms. We were pretty glad that we got to do the surveys instead of sitting around at a fixed place doing the same thing over and over again, since we could roam around freely and watch shows, look at different exhibits and try them out too. :)

We had lunch, then continued roaming around. I felt uncomfortable as my throat started to feel sore and parched from all the talking, and I had a stomach ache that came and went repeatedly. It was so, so annoying. :( I'm glad I'm fine now though.

So anyway..

THE BEST THING TODAY WAS, WE GOT TO TOUCH THE CUTE CHICKS!

Chicks, as in, little chicks, the yellow, fluffy, baby bird. NOT attractive young women.

THEY'RE SO CUTE AND FLUFFY! OHGOSH.
It's so fluffy I'm gonna die! HAHAHA. They're really adorable ttm. :D

As the next man in line told me his order, he added, "-and can I get a smile with that?"

I stopped what I was doing, looked up at his caring expression, and gave him a genuine smile that lasted the whole day.
